offer you! My name is Derek Hanson, and I am a third
year student at a prominent East Coast medical school.
During my time as a medical student, I've been able to learn
all about the human body and it's amazing details.
I've learned about serious diseases and the miracle of
curing them. I've learned how to care for myself and
those that are dear to me. It has been a great
privilege, and it's one that I'd like to share with you.

One of the
greatest tasks that physicians face today, is that of
educating out patients. There's so much information to
know, that it's impossible to fit it all into a 20 minute
office visit. But hopefully this site can help in its
own small way, by providing you access to learn more about
your health and your body. Through the power of
computers and the internet, I will be able to record the
vast majority of my medical school notes on this website.
(Which, of course, means that there will always be a corny
joke or two thrown in along the way.) Once the site is
complete, it will respresent a medical
education worth thousands of dollars. And it's yours for
free, through MedSkool.Net!

Now I realize
that there are lots of other medical resources out there on
the internet. But what sets this site apart from the others
is that MedSkool.Net puts you in white coat instead of the
waiting room. The content on this site wasn't written
for patients, it was written for doctors. That's a big
difference! But please be aware that you should not

own course of treatment. MedSkool.Net urges you to

The purpose of this site is solely to provide a resource for
learning medical information from a unique perspective and
